! Guess how much is my total cost now?
Anyway, back on topic. It's rated at 5200mAh (57Wh) which I would assume can last at least 5 hours on a single charge. The original battery that came with my 1001TU is only 2300mAH (26Wh) which barely reaches two hours with 50% brightness and wifi on, but according to battery eater, it's rated at 2 hours and 6 mins.
My first impression is the high quality of manufacturing. It almost looks like the original. I don't know about the battery quality though since I have yet to test it (it's being charged right now). The extended battery being sold by HP only has a capacity of 4400mAH that can go up to 4 hours. I briefly discussed it in another post which I will quote here;

However, the replacement battery I ordered from hong kong is a bit different. It's larger since it's rated at 5200mah. The original extended battery is rated at 4400mah while the original slim battery is only 2300mah.
I'll post some pics once the extended battery I ordered a month ago arrives.
As for the design aspect, I liked this one better than the HP extended battery. It looks more solid and the added weight is minimal. I will update this post with my battery test results using battery eater and actual use performance.
In the meantime, here are some images I took of the 3rd party battery.

Compared with the original battery

How it looked like using the original battery

How it looks like now with the extended battery. Cool!

Incline height added by the battery is about 3/4".
