S10-3T External Display Problems

I tried using the external monitor from the factory installation. I went to Control panel chose external display. I also chose dual monitor in the latest version of intel GMA. I then upgraded to Windows 7 ultimate and it still did not work. I reformatted and installed a clean copy of Windows 7 Ultimate and still no luck. I then even tried connecting the external display before the computer is even started to see if the bios would recognize it. The Monitor always displays nothing is detected. I have tried several different monitors. I am wondering if my VGA port is just broken or if there is some way I can fix this. Help would be appreciated.
